Re: Punta Cana wind speeds in february?

Winter is upon us! Wifey wants warm water and white sand so we're off to a resort on Playa Bavaro for the last week of February with the wee ones. Looks like I ought to take my biggest TT and a 15m (Flite). Boy I'd love to rent a surfboard instead of travellng with a TT. Any and all advice welcome,...

What if you pump a kite with helium?

Hey, I've always wondered if you it would work to pump a kite with helium, since the kite would get in the air more easily. Would you be able to kite in lower winds? What would happen in higher winds? Etc.

You can also peal back the pads under your toes and put a pencil there---give your toes a grab point..

One foot out and one foot in, has been responsible for many a broken or torn knee, ankle, leg...

etc.

Good luck

How to prevent the board to fall off with straps?

Hello
I've recently been a bit injured when my board fell off my feet and I crashed on it, so I was wondering..
To prevent the board to fall off your feet, what do you do? Do you tighten the straps a lot, or do you raise your toes or something?

Thanks :)

Re: Straps close to tips on freestyle boards

Wider stance, more stable to land tricks, downside is can be uncomfortable especially if you have short legs (possibly). Freestyle boards generally tend to have a wider stance and no it won't make nose of board dive. When people change boards it is quite common to keep catching the nose until they ...

Straps close to tips on freestyle boards

Hello, I recently set up my Hadlow freestyle mk2 134x40cm, and i noticed that the straps are much more close to the tip of the board than my previous board, a freeride/freestyle board, the RRD placebo 133x39cm (the hadlow being 1cm longer): Here is the Hadlow freestyle: IMG-20130529-WA0000.jpg And h...

Re: Seat -> Waist Harness Sore Stomach Muscles?

It probably just hurts because you are not used to riding with that harness, meaning the torso gets a better workout when using a waist harness since the center of gravity is your torso, not your hips. I might get it wrong, but it seems normal.
