Hi Toby,

This is the post:

Is there a way for the creator of the ad to remove it?

I like your hooked in videos by the way.

Thanks.

Re: Boardbuilding materials: Epoxy, fiberglass, roller, mask

I live in Ohio but I can send you part of the epoxy if you don't want/need all of it. Minimum would be 12oz of resin and 4oz of hardner (3:1) for $10 plus shipping. That should be plenty for one board, maybe 2 if they aren't huge like the ones I made and you don't mix too much at once (so you don't ...

Boardbuilding materials: Epoxy, fiberglass, roller, mask, etc

I made 4 large boards and still have about 60-70% of the epoxy that I bought. Anyone need some? It's the US Composites 3 to 1 ratio mix. You could probably make over 10 boards with this and the fins too if you have a mold. I'm moving in less than a month, it might be around the corner or it might be...

Re: travel kiteboard

I actually haven't tried it yet. I traveled with it, the conditions were unfavorable and I just left the board there for my return. I'll try it next time. If I were to do it again I would try to reduce the weight by using less wood by cutting off some of the top layer of the bottom 2 pieces (towards...

Lowes Birch / Abedul panel 72" x 18" x 3/4"

Any thoughts on using one of the solid wood (glued) panels made of Abedul (Birch) for a kiteboard? Seems like its too thick, mabe just taking a planer to it would work. Might even be able to make some channels on the bottom of the board and some fake rocker (planning the tip and tail of the board on...

Re: travel kiteboard

Thanks! I used a dust respirator for everything and tried to keep the room as ventilated as possible, although Im sure I could have used more ventilation, especially when it got cold and I had to close the windows (but left the room too). Maybe I'll get a charcoal mask next time. Lots of learning ca...

travel kiteboard

I decided to make a travel kiteboard. Waiting on the epoxy and fiberglass, should arrive tomorrow. Here is my progress so far. If it turns out well (doesn't break, etc), I'll write the steps I took. It's my first time making a board. Still not sure how to make the screw holes waterproof, if anyone h...
