Re: 2013 Cabrinha bar trim stretch

Thanks for the info but its not the landing line bungee. It's the bungee cord within the trim line adjuster (power/depower lines with the balls or handles). The metal clips are under the pleather covers at the top.

Re: 2013 Cabrinha bar trim stretch

Ya. I need to purchase the whole adjustable trim unit. It's a lot more than $20. Anyway, I fixed it. Suprisingly, it is only attached with a little pin/clip you clamp down using pliers.

2013 Cabrinha bar trim stretch

Has this happened to anyone? The internal bungee line snapped on the trim adjuster making one of my trim lines (depower) dangle.

Re: Liquid Force Trimming system and question

I've primarily used below the bar depower and I find it easy. What I don't like about the CPR below the bar depower is its location. The center location makes for some awkward adjustments. Naturally, you want to pull out to the side but the CPR requires that you pull it straight back into your gut. ...

LF Havoc vs NRG

Any 2011 Liquid Force Havoc riders have any experience with the NRG? Similarities/differences? How does the relaunch compare?

Thanks.

Re: 2010/2011 Liquid Force CPR Control Bar

The 2011 bar has loops on outside/back lines and knots on inside/front lines. I assume 2010 is the same.

Line length

I know some of the pluses/minuses of longer/shorter lines but I'm curious about the following example: 14m kite with 27m lines vs 15m with 20m lines. Whats faster turning? What has more power? Or are the differences so minute that kite size is all that matters? Obviously, I'm speaking generally as I...

2011 LF Havocs

Me: 175lbs, 4yrs kiting, like old school/big jumps

Thinking about 10/14 liquid force havocs. I'm concerned the 10 won't get much use. I had a 10m OR rise that did not work for me but my 10.5 cult does. Would the 10 havoc come close to the cult? Any general opinions on the havoc?

Thanks

Re: Naish Park Quiver

I know a 14 park will work so I'm more concerned about the 10 vs 11. I prefer powered kiting (no surf, no light wind boards). Maybe a better question is what would be closer in range to a 2010 cult 10.5 which i fly now? This kite works well for me in the 20+ range. If they made an 11 cult, it'd prob...
