Re: Trouble finding board after crash

Re: Advice from an older married kiter to a young one

Not sure about #3:
How is being fullfilled by another person better than being fullfilled by kiting? Either can let you down, either can become uninteresting & addiction is addiction. To be clear, 😂 it’s a joke. Mostly.

Re: What is the international signal for "Abort launch"?

It’s no wonder so many people self launch. Here we say self launching is safer as there’s is only one idiot involved.

Re: Cabrinha Contra 17 or 19m?

Yup, underpowered is a different set of skills
As is overpowered a different set of skills
As is lightwind a different set of skills

Want to be a good safe kiter, learn them all. Besides it vastly increases your fun factor!

Re: Cabrinha Contra 17 or 19m?

If the 19i is the only kite you fly or fly 90% of the time you get used to it like anything you do a lot. If you are just using it 20% of the time or less it will feel slow and you won’t like it much. How often will you ‘need’ it?

Re: What gears should a kitesurfer buy first?

Harness & wetsuit Get a good fitting harness for sure, wetsuit fit is not as important unless you swim a lot but still a good idea Kite and board you can rent and are more trouble to travel with. Wait on the bat to go with the two kites you end up with. Meantime try lots of kites and boards to see w...
