Re: Fastest way how to set up your kite

Maybe you could leave your kite pumped up overnight in a tent with the lines still on. In the morning 2 quick pumps to top it off and go....lol
I still like to run my line out to feel for nicks and worn areas. Safety first?

In most cases for most kites it will make no noticeable difference. Go enjoy riding.

Maybe when you pull yourself up the safety line to the bar, wrap the safety line around the bar a couple of times so after you reset the qr you can check to make sure the safety is not wrapped anywhere and then unwind it from the bar to let it slide out?

Re: Shorten Line Length from 24m to 22m

Not sure of the Quad bar exact setup but if you willing to tinker there are a lot of options to make an adjustable y split. Even North, sorry DuoPhone, has one on there other bar. Or a simple SS ring on the correct front line that can moved is a possibility.

Re: Need a new term for being lofted horizontally!

There is a huge difference between a large slow kite in a flat pond overpowered and A small fast kite in the waves underpowered. Although we call them both kiting, they are essentially different sports. And can not be compared for safety or anything else when they require very different skill sets. ...

Re: New bandage for cuts - ZipStitch

Yea, works great. Just a small drop to hold the edges close and heals with almost no scar. Close to magical. Depending on where we ride, there are days I have more superglue on my feet than actual skin,

Re: Kiteboard stiffness and how to describe it?

+1 for Peter
It’s not how much flex alone but where the flex happens. Really hard to quantify.
Sadly, You have to ride them and talk with people who have ridden lots of boards and you know and can trust
