Re: Gasping for breath after crash?! Breathing how to?

Well, yes and no. What you say is true but there is a bit more to it. If you are holding your breath while riding you are almost out of breath before you crash so to compare it to sitting around doing nothing you would have to hold your breath for a minute 3 lor 4 times and then try and hold your br...

Re: What to inspect when buying a used kite?

Also the trailing edge as it can get a lot of wear just sitting on the beach flapping in the wind even if the rest of the kite looks good.

Re: Can I use 2015-2017 Ozone Contact Water Control Bar with Naish kites

Both 4 line, equal length at full power, low v, single front line release? If true, then yes although you might need pigtails to correct kook-proof attachments. This is for most kites these day; yours specifically also yes. Line length is personal preference. Since you don’t say what kind of riding ...

In/out ?

Re: Ozone Enduro V2

Yes, changing the bridle makes a noticeable difference. The wave setting does not make it a Reo but gets close. The freestyle setting does not make it a C4 buts gets close. Very different feel. Changes the power through the turn, the turn shape, the bar pressure and the slack after pop. Having said ...

Re: Advise on true wind range of 12m Cabrinha Switchblade 2016

As a beginner you won’t notice any difference between the two wind ranges. Get the cheaper one and thrash it. You don’t say what the wind is where you will kite but if you are a quick learner and the wind is steady, get the 10 or 11 if those are options. If not the 12 will be a bit slower to react w...

Fun kites, one quick setting change on the front bridle and it will do everything you want.

Re: Directional footstraps ?

Seems to me if you are constantly needed in to pull up on your front foot for trim control, one of your straps is to far forward which puts your center of gravity too far forward. Try riding the board strapless for a while and see where your feet end up to balance your weight 50/50. Or not......

Re: Chicken Loop Bye Bye?

Yes, you will give up a bit but
You can also get the whole setup too close
Elbows hit hips & no leverage when all the way in,
Doable but unnecessary.
Make sure you show us what you end up with...

Re: Lowend 2017 neo 6m?

Yup, +1
3m gap is ok for free riding but not really for waves. For sure you can do it but there will be lots of times you would want to be on the ‘other’ kite.
