Maybe when you pull yourself up the safety line to the bar, wrap the safety line around the bar a couple of times so after you reset the qr you can check to make sure the safety is not wrapped anywhere and then unwind it from the bar to let it slide out?
Not sure of the Quad bar exact setup but if you willing to tinker there are a lot of options to make an adjustable y split. Even North, sorry DuoPhone, has one on there other bar. Or a simple SS ring on the correct front line that can moved is a possibility.
