carbon fiber reinforced polymer = CF with epoxy or polyesther or other resin ( room temp / high temp ), too vague......

50 MIX seem to be a added filler to the resin, (by weight 50% ), which one ?
or a
50% CF with 50% FG fiber cloth or 50% of other fiber

Try to find a dielectric grease,
if possible, a food grade grease and water resistant, to stop electric current which make corrosion.

I'm learning foiling now and got cauth in a similar sitiation. In fresh water with small current. Around Montreal, Canada. Speaking with other foilers, some carries swimming fins and even a big plastic bag!!!!! the one that are using foil kite going for miles and miles run. Yes, they all wear PFD. S...

like Nem0, no problem with that and the tag(right) is sew on the splice, compressing the splice

for ; My Idea is to sew a parallell equivalent line strenght beside it, would that be ok?
never do that!!!!!
sewing thread are not as strong as line

Still working on a mast using 3x3 pieces of balsa (total of 9; 3x25mm) spaced with uni-CF 12oz for the core, under press. Why a second hydrofoil. if you can bulit it, then OK. see Ketos wings, You'll have a guess on dimention. Mast: 90cm or so seems to be the standard for waves and freeride. some , for wave riding go even shorter, the pendulum effect, to turn the foil fast into the new direction. all in balance of, pit...
