That first brace looks exceptionally well made, but it is essentially a unicompartmental deloader. Great for medial compartment OA knees, and great for meniscal tears which are painful through compression. But: Direct clean landings don’t seem to bother it at all, even fast powered...

Neill Yeah it was a hard straight leg landing on a some jagged ice , and yup there was some twisting as my knee pushed inward on the landing . (Picture landing duck stance on a snow board ) . I agree with and have gotten similar advise about meniscus healing process and surgery . Back to the issues ...
