Re: Duotone NEO SLS 2022 - where did the quality go?

Recently switched to the new Neo DLAB, 7 and 9. I only had like six sessions on them, but man, this really looks like a game changer so far. There is a huge difference in upwind capability, in drift and in light wind behavior, compared to the SLS. I would even go this far as to say that the standar...

Re: Slingshot Eye Candy

two things: 1) Celeritas tail shape is back to "normal" so no more stepped tail and, 2) less importantly the graphics of the white versions are aweful, there is no way anyone would like those, hello? :bye: I am glad to see the bamboo-surface versions stil exist, thank you. Tyrant 6'1s have been real...

Anyone tried Slingshot Tyrant 6'1" 2012?

Hi guys, I currently have the 6'1 2011 Tyrant which I really love. BUT it had some manufacturing errors and now I received the 2012 model. The new one is thicker 2.5" instead of the older of 2.25" and it's also a slightly heavier and a tiny bit narrower. Now I still have the old one, and before usin...

Re: Naish Park 14 x Switchblade 14

Hi, I am looking for a light wind kite for strapless surfboard riding; mainly practising jumps with grabs in low winds. Is the Park good for that; I am good at milking the low end from the kite but need something bigger than my current 10.5 meter gives. I need a fast flying kite, which turns well an...

Dynabar V7 sizing, which one to get?

Hi, before my holiday trip I need to buy the Dynabar, however, there are two lengths, 29 and 34 cms. Which one should I choose then? I am wearing 35" jeans and I will get seat harness (North Performer), but it hasn't arrived yet and I can't check the measurements beforehand, and I need to order the ...

How to add better grab rails for surfboard?

Hi, I have a Tyrant 6'1 which I really like, BUT I need a solution to grab the board better from its rail during strapless jumps. The board is a bit slippery and although I put wax on near rails (top and bottom side of the board), I still keep missing the board in the launch or drop it during the ju...

Hector - how do you see jumping potential for 2012 NEO versus EVO in 9 and 12meter sizes?

Seat harness whose legstraps don't restrict leg movement?

Hi, due to my back problem I need to use seat harness, but I haven't been able to test too many. What bothers me really is that the leg straps or actually the attachment points of the legstraps are too low so when I raise my knee, the legstraps (their attachment points) are restricting the leg movem...

Re: The New V-7 Dynabar.

this is a bit off topic from Dynabar, but anyways; Tomatkins etc. would this carabiner work just by itself, I mean if you put the rope through the eye (top left in the picture) of this thing: http://www.biltema.fi/ProductImages/25/large/25-368_l.jpg Then the carabiner would slide freely through the ...

North Neo 2012 - feedback needed (mainly for waves)

So I have read Oase.com's view on North Neo 2012 and that got my interest.

Has anyone tried it yet, and especially in onshore waves, how does it handle?

Thanks!
