Re: FS Speed 6

Guys you're intriguing me with the Sonic... I'm feeling like a child who knows that the story is too big for him but he's ready to jump anyway... :-))) So, my current quiver: 3 pumps, Core XR 7/11/15, one foil, SP5 21. I ride only TT, so forget foiling for the moment. Next year, I'm planning to repl...

Re: FS Speed 6

Thanks Sedluk, this is exactly my opinion but since I've never tested a Sonic reading that it's better "even in relaunch" sounded like it was not so difficult to handle. I think it's all a matter of experience, as I wrote above I'm not an expert foil kiter, it's clear that an experienced rider will ...

Re: FS Speed 6

- Speed 6: a Sonic2 with DLX material (the Sonic2 is better than the Speed 5 in every department, even relaunch) This is very interesting. I frankly never tested nor considered the Sonics because I thought they were too technical for me (I'm an average Joe just looking for great low wind performance...

Re: How to make a kite

I just read this post and I'm excited and touched watching at the video. The XR was my first kite, I bought an 11 after seeing one in a kite magazine. I don't know why but I liked it, so I asked if it was ok for a noob and I eventually bought one. It was the kite I used for my first legs, my first j...

Re: New foil from Ozone

I read the this thread quite quickly, so I hope I didn't miss anything... Any comparison between the HL 12 and the Speed 5 12 with a standard TT? Different kites and AR, I know, but since the Speeds are (were?) at the moment the more "friendly" foils for freeriding it would be interesting to test th...

Re: Core xr5?

Great Thewindego! I also own the 4, I'm looking forward to read your report about the new creature. Frankly speaking, I don't think I will sell my 4 since it's really in perfect conditions but I appreciate if you can report anyway.

Thank you and enjoy the new baby!

Re: Core xr5?

I agree. Seems just a refining of the XR4. That's what I was saying in the above post, very little room for real enhancement. It's not only Core, it's a general problem IMO.
