Re: Kiteboards: Carbon Vs Wood

Again your mixing things, end to end compression isn’t the same as longitudinal compression. LC is what occurs when you land as you describe. End to end compression is vertical ( as a column) which carbon is weak in (yes there are exceptions) but thin kite boats laminate isn’t one of them laminated c...

Re: Kiteboards: Carbon Vs Wood

Anything that has suffered core failure or has delaminated is doomed anyway.

Saying one skin material is better than the others prove a point when the core is dead or the laminate has failed is a pointless argument.

Re: What about kiting in the olympics?

Building on PNPs post. The meeting happened, the company I worked for at the time were invited, it has been denied point blank by people from NP when I questioned the timing on their Face book post. Re: hydrofoil at max speed limit

Maybe, how you wrote it is very open to misinterpretation and basing a theory on something that’s open to misinterpretation is not ideal. Time to spend less time behind the keyboard theorising and more time speed sailing then😉 Either way though kite foils in their current configuration won’t actuall...
