Re: Looking for comfortable sleepers: nothing like good pads

I found the shinn sneakerX pads crap. I swapped them out for some North Entity's.....they are awesome pads! Awesome ! Well they would be if they fitted. they are made for tracks, tried to fit some to a non North board and they were a very poor fit, very little adjustment, unless you you like ...

Re: Monk Forever...is forever??

I'm ~200lbs It is true that the original Monk was favoured by the lighter riders and that the control / chop handling at speed it offered was less relevant to the heavy (er) weight. The Monk Forever was tuned to give more bottom end and retain the same top end control, especially in the new 134x42 ...

Re: self landing with stake

SupaEZ.... So when you walk up the strong line do you have to take care to keep very even tension on the line so the kite doesn't get pulled towards you? I saw a guy landing another (non 5th) kite with a high Y one day the way you mentioned, the kite always looked to be just luffing and like it was ...

Re: Epic screamer or north rebel

I remember in 2011 being told that North had the rights to D2 for two years.

This year I hear a few companies talking up a new canopy material....not called D2 but sounds very similar with the double ripstop thread.

Re: Shinn Dundee reviews please!

I also have lightwind board at 140x46 which I don't enjoy riding and usually leave it at home. I'm thinking of the Dundee in 135x44, do you ...

Re: 4-line kites safety issues

It would be good to know why you needed to pull the safety in the first place?

It could be very relevant for a good answer to your question.
