Which kitesizes for Puerto Plata - DR in October ?

Hi, I will spend three weeks in Puerto Plata in the upcoming month. Although I heard that it isn't the best month for kiting, I decided to take my gear along, but I'd like to travel with a minimum of kite-lugagge. Has anynone gained experienced with the most flown kitesizes in October? My weight is ...

Re: c kite sits further back in the window...

I definetely agree with Sam about the unhooked-feeling of Cs and bows. If you unhook while riding a C, you will nearly have the same amount of power hooked in or unhooked. It's really easy to get a good pop and slack. Bow or bridled kites get a energy boost, when you unhook. I often get the feeling ...

Re: Stuck in progress-blind judge

I need to give you an update, had a great session a few days ago. At a point I was feeling very confident, when I went for the 5th or 6th BJ of the sesh, but in that BJ I could really feel, how I managed to bring the bar near to my hip and finished the pass :D Although I had to take a crah, cause I ...

Re: How to get a harder pull to your hip in handlepasses ???

I have to admit that I was fairly overpowered yesterday on my 12m²(changed from it directly to an 8m², cause wind picked up in a short time heavily) kite is usually at 45-50 degrees, generally I can feel the slack and just go for the pass, but my hands are 10-15cm overhead behind the back, arms are ...

How to get a harder pull to your hip in handlepasses ???

Hi, it's me again. I'm working for 2 months now on handlepasses. I set up a simulator in the garden, where i get handlepasses regurlarly done. But on the water I just bent my arms too little to get a single pass done. Yesterday I finally saw a video of one try and also realized that I need to get a ...

Re: Stuck in progress-blind judge

I'm really sorry that I haven't got photos of this. To the kite... it depends, sometimes the kite heads to the water, sometimes there is no change of direction. But the most annoying part of it is...that I nearly get a piece of the bar, but I end up having one hand on the leash  I think that t...

Stuck in progress-blind judge

Hey there, for a longer period I'm working hardly on the BJ and now I'm getting pretty desperate, because I can't figure out, where I'm doing the decisive fault. :-? I pop out for a raley, at the apex of the jump I start bringing the bar to my front hip and getting into the rotation, let the backhan...
