Gin Marabou is very light and also turns fast for a foil kite

I just bought a 6m Nova, yesterday tried it out on a twintip, the wind was around 8-9m/s. The other riders were on 9-12m tube kites. When I launched the kite it seemed to have very little power, sheeting in did not change things much. But when I flew it fast through the wind window, it pulled a lot....

Gong is really good value and quality and very beginner-friendly. I am using surf pro wing size M (compatible with the surf mast).

In the past Ive used Epoxy, thickened with microballons, between foam and pauwlonia. May consider Polyurethane as well. Curing time will be quite long though, as in a day or two most likely. 100% agree. Epoxy alone is heavy, when mixed with microspheres it is strong and light. The PU (polyurethane)...

Yet another option would be to take a carbon mast and make it stronger by adding a few extra layers of carbon.

I prefer lightwind kites that are light; from inflatable kites I really like Naish Boxer (one strut). When it is really light then I use a foil kite (HQ4 Matrixx 18m) with line extensions, it allows to start early and is very manageable in overpowered conditions as well; there are many good foil kit...
