Re: Free kite plans on GitHub

Hi Steve, I added the PDF to the Agilus 10 release . Looks like you are getting prepared for a long dark winter :D :D I haven't build a singleskin kite or paraglider but would really like to. Also take a look at http://www.laboratoridenvol.com/ . Karsten http://www.wingworks.de/wp-content/uploads/pr...

Hi Steve,
I'll be back home by the end of next week and create the PDFs as soon as possible.

Cheers

Have someone completed 17m Ventus yet?
I don't think so. I always recommend to start with the smaller sizes. I got a lot of good feedback about them.
But if you want I can also update the Ventus 16 to the Version 2

Next task will be the translation ... :bye:
Any volunteers out there?
I'm preparing the github pages with all the content (in german). Then we can start translating sentence by sentence. All you need is a github account and some time :thumb:

Re: Free kite plans on GitHub

So, yeah, instead of posting plans which no one will use ever... I'm only creating and pushing plans if someone requested them and wants to build the kite or at least discuss the design. But I totally agree that it would be very helpful to translate my german howto into some more languages (english...

Re: DIY onestrut kite

Force distribution should be balanced as viewed in any projection. However, even from the side view the angle split between forward and backward bridle must be equal if the tension is equal. The tension is not spread equally between the bridle lines of the ventus. Highest tension is on the lines cl...

Re: DIY onestrut kite

@ Bridle rendering seems odd. For the connection point to be in front of the LE there needs to be something that pulls it there. The four bridle connection points at the LE are behind it, I would suggest that the front line connection point is directly between them. I dont't understand your suggesti...
