I made a three part board before and it worked out very heavy, making the joins strong enough proved a lot of messing around. A lot of airlines now charge for any baggage which isnt hand luggage, so over sized board bags dont cost much more than a normal sized bag of the same weight, depends on the ...

One thing to remember is that if you have a full concave your fin boxes
will have to be angled to compensate, which could be hard to set up, also
with longer wave fins a error will show up more.

Look forward to seeing some pics as it is also my next project,
Is 142 a bit short ?

Top Tip if pouring urethane rails...check your table with a level before you start mixing !!! Just tried urethane rails on my latest board, and had a few hectic moments propping up legs as all the resin gushed down one end ! I knew my table was level but hadn't realized how much of a slope the garag...

yes it is a three axis,
I have built all the table myself from bits i`ve
"begged, borrowed or stolen"
then bought the motors and drivers.
It could do with a lot of improvements, but is
running and hope to cut a full size board in
the next couple of weeks.

have got the CNC more or less up and running :)
A shaky video testing it to cut a 1/5 scale twintip.
