Re: Turtleneck Rash Guard

I know this is an old thread but I've been looking for the same thing and recently found this: http://www.bloquv.com/turtleneck/ No idea if it is durable, and it is women's cut which may not work for the OP. I've been looking for both neck and hand coverage for kiting (and snorkeling etc) for a long...

We loved Mounu! Did you kite at Kenutu nearby? Our favorite in Vava'u:

Re: Sailing across the S.Pacific....best spots?

I understand you are currently waiting around in Minerva reef - too bad we never crossed paths. We've had a great time kiting in the Tuamotus, Society Islands and now Tonga:

Re: South Pacific Destinations

We have been checking pretty thoroughly with our boat! ;)

But I haven't used splocs before. Interestingly in French Polynesia they only have locations in the Society Islands so I should log in and add our Tuamotus favorites. Rangiroa is really a dream.

Re: South Pacific Destinations

Well, we've been traveling with our saiboat and kiting in French Polynesia for 1.5 years since this post and we have developed some of our own favorite kiting spots. Here are 3 French Polynesian atolls we love: http://youtu.be/dD7pQ6FO6WI Mostly aerial footage with a GoPro on a kite but some with a ...

Budget Odyssey

We are heading across the Pacific in our sailboat which we sailed from Canada to Mexico last summer. Think "Best Odyssey" but on a budget...and without rockstar kiters flying in :) I am new to the forum and new to kiteboarding. We picked up kiting so we would have a sport we could do while traveling...

South Pacific Destinations

Where to go? We're taking our 35' sailboat into the S Pacific and are gathering information on kite spots before leaving Mexico in a few weeks. We're relatively new kiteboarders so we aren't looking for epic waves or kiting in atoll passes. We may spend several seasons sailing (and kiting) in the ar...
