Hello, If you are still a beginner/intermediate, you'll be fine with this kite, however maybe consider to buy a Big Mama 15m if you're looking into great low-end. My friends who teach with it say it's great even in boarder-wind 11-12 knts. But very slow.

Being in Thailand few years ago for quite a few months I used once 9m, once 10m, the rest of time was either 12m or 15m kite. Skim board is a good thing to have over there. I would say, that Thailand is great, but I wouldn't go there for kiting vacation. I would go to do whatever and kite if there a...
