Re: 2016 Ozone Catalyst

Correct. From what i have heard is that there will be two versions. I think they are still working on the beginner friendly version, but the other is ready....I believe but can't confirm 100percent

Re: 2016 Ozone Catalyst

That is correct from what I have heard as well. A beginners version is the newest Cat to be released though I have not seen anything on it just yet.

Re: The QR Thread: Kite instructors, how do you teach safety

I am an instructor and I have my own school that I have run for several years. I always start the depowering drill with my students on the trainer, and tell them that at any given moment I will tell them to let go of the bar to initiate reflex skills in quickly depowering the kite. I also get my stu...

Re: Kiting around Seattle in April

Hey Northern kiters, I just arrived on Whitbey Island and this week is showing some potential to kite. Staying in Coupville but happy to drive to get some kiting in. If anybody is around I would love to hook up and have a run. Will be here for the next 6 days.
Cheers

Re: Kiting around Seattle in April

Awesome dudes, I am up for it. Willing to drive where ever as that is my primary interest while there. Left the booties at home, have gloves, but no hoodie. The vids I have been checking out do look cold! brrrrr. But I love kiting new places so I will try and find some rubber to make it work. As I m...

Re: Kiting around Seattle in April

Thanks for the info. I did think it would be rather cold, might see if I can rent something up that way. I don't mind driving an hour or more to kite, I have plenty of exploring time. Any of the surf/kite shops rent 5/4's ? I surfed in Oregon years ago and never felt so cold and alone in my life. At...

Kiting around Seattle in April

Hey all, I am currently on a nine month travel escapade and am visiting some places I have never been. Just arrived last week to Southern Cal coming in from where I live in Australia. I am going to be in Whidbey Island in April and wondered if I should bring my gear. Have a full quiver, but only a 4...

Re: Ride Engine Harness feedback..

1968, that is exactly what I am worried about. Being told to try and hotglue something by the company before one season of use is not on! Clearly there is an issue here that he should address. Perhaps it is a heat issue where they are left in the sun/hot car etc, don't know, but for a premium price ...
