Re: Tona Flow 136 or 140

Yea you're going to want the 136.

I'm 64 KG and I'm comfy on the 136. 140 is a tad bit too much board.

Re: Calling all wake skate riders

Try the Tantrum 4 or 5 from Carved: an intelligent instant glider that can be used as regular TT. It feels like a skateboard and rides like a TT. I don't think you understand what a wakeskate is AirBunny. Right now Tona is the only one that makes a production kite skate. The Driftwood. It's heavier...

Re: Anyone try the new Tona Pulse Surf boards?

Saw one in person when I was in the OBX, but didn't get to ride it. Thing looks beautiful in person, supposed to be built for medium/smaller waves. I know Dereck's been shaping surfboards for a long long time, so I've got a feeling this one's gonna be a solid one.

Re: Please advice on the Carved Imperator 5 finish

Jesus.. that looks like what happens to ricers in my area with their CF Spoilers on their 1995 Honda Civics. I wonder if a coating of wax would help you out. You'd figure when you pay that much for a board, they'd have some sort of UV protectant on top to help prevent stuff like this. Then again, sa...

Re: Tona POP: 138 or 142 for me?

Really it's up to personal preference. The nice thing about the 142 is it'll get you going a bit faster in low wind conditions. If you've got the strength to load up the 142, I'd say go for it. Dre is lighter than you and he prefers the 142 over the 138 just because he likes teh feel of more board u...

Re: Tona POP: 138 or 142 for me?

Hey Przemj,

Are you going to be riding straps or boots?

Straps I'd say stay in the 138 range, boots, both the 142 and 138 would be fine for you, really depends on personal preference.

What board/size do you ride now? What are you looking for out of the board? What tricks/style is your riding?
