Hi guys I have 3/4 weeks in august I would like to go in a good spot for kite (better if flat and with some nice waves kicker 8) ) and also for surf. I am not an expert surfer so no need big waves or radical spot just for fun and progress. Bali? good for surf but for kite? South Brasil? Srilanka? e...

Wife is getting cabin fever and wants out of the country... I'd like to go to Maui but I don't think the "cost of living" there for 3 weeks would fit out budget :( So the options I've come up with so far are: Koh Samui - not sure about the wind Sanur (Bali) - wind should be ok but I like Thailand b...

spent the last summer vacation in Ceara Brazil with a close friend of mine. there are no wicked tricks here but i think the movie does a pretty good job at taking you there and giving the feel of the place. now you can buy your tickets at ease. :) hope you guys enjoy it Gili http://vimeo.com/426300...

Good thread. Im also looking for some ankle support devise. Anything that helps stabalise the ankle after a heavy trimalleolar fracture. I've found some which work with velkro but aren't meant for water use...
Any recommendations would be very much appreciated. :thumb:

I got my mates back in Swiss kiting on Lac Leman all the time. They have not heard anything about this "ban on kiting" or have had any problems so far. Lets hope it never gets this far.
Of course I fully support you guys to stop this possible ban of kiting. :thumb:

Yea I had this unpleasant surprise at the airport last time I flew with TAP a few weeks ago. Still managed to keep my "golf" bag under 15 kg and then its free :thumb:

here in Jamaica , pretty warm , not sure the exact temp. A lot of the time i'll get hot and wanna cool off so i'll kite a bit further out to deeper cooler waters and just sit there in the water for a minute or two and cool down and probably end up having a pee too lol Remember that pee attracks the...

Here in Paracuru, Brazil its 26 degrees Celcius (79F) all year round :thumb:
No need for a wetsuit, drysuit or any of those uncomfortable things. :nono:
Just boardshorts, sunnies and dont forget your sun cream lotion! :bye:
