Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

Is the AVS going to be as effective on the Spitfire as it is on the Blaster?

Wich foil kite for hydrofoiling?

Hi,

I am a 95kg hydrofoiler. I currently have a Cloud 13.5 for light winds but am considering an easy foil kite (It will be my first foil kite experience) for even lighter winds.

So far, I am considering the Pulsion UL 15m or the Hyperlink UL 12m. Any thoughts? Tks.

Re: Mounting a hydrofoil on split board

The Infinity Split has more flex than the Infinity Split foil. You could break your Infinity Split using it with a foil. To make this work, I asked someone to make a plate to better distribute the weight on the board.

Re: Bar sheeting travel / kite's angle of attack.

Hi, I have recently been told that the Ocean Rodeo Stickshift bar has 115 cm of bar sheeting travel if the adjustable stopper is set at the very top (which seems HUGE to me). My question is: How long can a bar's sheeting travel be without messing with the kite's angle of attack? Tks ZERO cm is the ...

Re: Beginner kites with the best safety systems?

My height is 1,90 mts. My arms are really long. I don't NEED the CCS to access the kite's full depower range. I use it because if the bar is closer to the body, than the SWEETSPOT is closer to the body. This is basics ergonomics, try to do anything with your hands away or close to your body and tel...

Re: Beginner kites with the best safety systems?

Does any other system has 72cm of travel to sheet in/out? Yes, the Ocean Rodeo Stickshift bar has 115 cm of bar sheeting travel if the adjustable stopper is set at the very top. That's really interesting. I know there are limits on how long the sheeting travel can be, because the kite's angle of at...

Re: Beginner kites with the best safety systems?

For the reasons below, I believe the Cloud Connection System to be the safest of all: 1) Option to fully disconnect with 01 step only. 2) One single front line system. 3) More depower, because the bar is closer to the body ( Does any other system has 72cm of travel to sheet in/out?) Unless the OP's...

Re: Alpine wave wing.

But in ALL other conditions, I prefer the wave wings, both big and small ones, lower AR, fast turning, and amazing fun :naughty: I really liked the difference from the high AR big wing to the medium AR wave wing. I'd like to try even lower AR wings when I have the opportunity. Dont worry about othe...
