Re: Which kites 4 me?

Maybe come away from C-shapes for a while.

There are loads of differnet types of kite out there now. Shop around and don't fix yourself to one shape. You never know you might be surprised.

I've got a 132 and a 136 Starkites Edge I've not seen a 137? Anyway I love mine. They are a great board with really comfortable foot straps. loads of adjustment. Re: If you could choose one kite?

Interesting to see that the size of choice is 10/12

I'd agree it would either be 10 or 12 and my kite of choice would be my Starkites Taina.

Why.

A, I love it

B, In all honesty I don't have anything to compare it to as I've not ridden a different kite for some years now

I get that night time fishing they may forget something or not see something but when ever the fisherman are about theres rubbish. I've had to old hooks in my foot al...

Unfortuantly if you follow any of the threads Maturity falls foul of immaturity  Best of luck as it's an awesome sport with lo...

Re: The Kindness of strangers

Hi Toby Yeah, your right and one of the local lads thought that's what I was going to do. but I ran further down the beach and thought I'd be able to get past the break. But I just ended up getting tired. By the time i'd given up trying to paddle out the kite had drifted to far. I know now to try th...

The Kindness of strangers

Ok so today was a great day down at the beach. low tide was 2.30 perfect flat water and 12 to 16 knots. Perfect for a 12 metre unhooked sessioon :thumb: Basically I was having a whale of a time. When I threw a little to hard and lost my grip on the bar. When I re-surfaced I realise I was no longer a...
