Re: Unhooking for big boys!!

Almost always light weight kiter has more strength compared to his body weight than a heavy weight one. Yeah, that one is very important. But on a power delivery from the kite perspective, nothing really changes compared to a light rider. You ride a X-% bigger kite, you get X-% more pull (ignoring ...

Re: Unhooking for big boys!!

Exactly as I was saying, he's not gripping the bar tight enough and it's getting ripped off of his hands. No, I think he's doing it wrong. I bet he's going too slow which gives a very deep edge. When he starts edging, it just increases bar pressure, but the board is stuck deep in the water. There's...

Re: How to make a kite

So after reading all the "Made in Germany" statements from Core's offical website you still chose to "understand" that they are made from anywhere but Germany. That is amazing. Do you know what color the sky is? Maybe you can help me understand that too. Why don't you make a screenshot and post it ...

Re: How to make a kite

Just because a bunch of Indians are making their products doesn't mean their products come from India. Their original products come from Germany, just like it says on the front of their website, just like it says on front of their facebook, and the countless other times it's on the internet. You ca...

Re: How to make a kite

Oh, you want to see a "Made In" statement? Just go to their website and read the front page, go to their facebook and read the front page, look them up on google. It's there plain as day right in front of your face, you can't miss it. Ok I just did. Now what? Core is from Germany, that's where the ...

Re: Unhooking for big boys!!

Your weight isn't really relevant. What a load of bollox! How much do you weigh? I’ve kited weighing between 103 and 117 kg and the difference is huge in just about all aspects. Also see Tones comments. I've weighed from 93 to 69, 84 at the moment. For the kite and technique the weight of the rider...

Re: How to make a kite

Core has it's own factory in SriLanka No they don´t, they produce at Aqua Dynamics. Owners name is Frank, he is a funny guy. Yeah I was mistaken. Rectified it in a later post. I know GSLanka, but didn't know the name of the other factory. But Core kites are sure as hell not made in Germany

Re: Unhooking for big boys!!

Trim the kite so you're not too overpowered when fully sheeting in. Bear off downwind just enough to get some slack. Unhook and loadnpop fast. Just look at some freestyle contest video's... you can see them pull the trigger very fast. A C-kite or bridled freestyle kite will help too. Sounds like you...
