Re: What's the dumbest thing you have seen a newbie do?

I'm gonna change a bit the topic to "What's the dumbest thing you did recently ?" Asked my friend who is absolutely not a Kitesurfer for a launch... I gave him the instructions beforehand and I kept telling him " do not let go until I give you thumb's up". He was struggling with lifting the L.E, an...

Re: Moving from Switchblade to FX

... Do some research about how the window works, and what the relation between netto L/D is taking parasitic drag (weight/shape/wetted surface) into account and how that relates to the dynamics of the window. Try searching about towpoints, CoP and thrust in relation to AoA too while you're at it. Y...

Re: Moving from Switchblade to FX

Omg, lol . You're on a kite, not on a cable. It doesn't work how you think it works. Maybe if you edge super-superhard, you can make the kite go in a circle around you  I agree with Nomad btw :baby: Sorry, I can't let it go. You are thinking unhooked slack and riding like on a cable - tha...

Re: The Ultimate Wetsuit !?

I had a Ripcurl E-Bomb from 2013 or 14, and that thing looked like it was uses 20 years, after just 6 months. Seams toring apart, lining peeling off, knees splitting open, discoloration. Fit wasn't that great either tbh, forearms and lower legs waaay to small. Got a Ion Onyx after that, and although...

Re: Switch Lineup

What Switch is now? I don't know but it's got to be the first. Good price for other company's designs. Problems: No continuity, no predictability. I'm getting Déjà vu from when Best made the last "waroo" not a "waroo". It ticked lots of people off too. I agree Switch maybe should have changed the n...

Re: Switch Lineup

I'm still considering a LW wavekite, so maybe the H3 12m is an option, but I think I'll experiment losing the sidestruts of my old E3 13m first. Some other guys did it, and mentioned no real difference in stability. Will make the kite a lot lighter though. Because of the weight the minimum wind necc...
