2015 Slingshot Rally Bridle Outside Lines

I have recently attempted to use my 2015 Slingshot Rally 10m kite for the first time. After opening the kite, I noticed that Slingshot shipped the kite without the outside adaption lines. This is the short blue line attached to the kite that you connect the outside lines to. Does anyone have a Sling...

Re: Slingshot SST vs Ozone Reo

I had 6,8 10 and 12 2016 sst kites. I sold them because of to much power when looping but the drifting is amazing. also 1-very well built 2-easy relaunch 3-medium bar pressure I like them a lot but for surfing, you need to loop the kite and not being pull of the board. I ride NEOs and I am not goin...

Re: Slingshot SST vs Ozone Reo

I've just thought of something. We should also consider line lengths. Ozone flies on 25m lines standard while slingshot is on 20m lines. This is going to make a big difference in the looping of the kite!

Has anyone flown both kites with the same line lengths?

Slingshot SST vs Ozone Reo

I am looking to buy an 8m slingshot SST. I am wondering how this kite's loop compares to the ozone reo's loop. I've flown an 8m reo before and I love the way the reo loops quick and easy and with a consistent pull through the small loop radius. I recently used an 8m best cabo (2015) and the loop was...

Foot straps and foot injuries

I recently had a couple sessions in really high wind. After which the top of my foot hurt slightly and hurt greatly when I kiteboarded with a twin tip again. I had just put on new foot straps and I am thinking the repetitive impact on the top of my foot caused some bone bruising to occur (although t...

Re: How to make a high Y bar ?

That being said - why bother at all? Kites designed to fly on Y-bars work perfectly fine with V-bars, it's the other way around that you might actually notice any difference in kite's behaviour and yet alone - to have any real issues. Can you please expain further? I dont understand why v-bar desig...

Converting Bar from Low V to High V

Firstly, how much difference does a low v and high v make in the flying characteristics of a kite? I have just purchased an fone bandit that flies on high v bar line setup but I only have low v bars. Does anyone know how to temporarily adapt a bar to convert it to a high v instead of a low v setup? ...

Re: Kitemare on my Diablo

Good questions. I am also a recent Diablo owner and have the same question. If it is the case that the Diablo crashes leading edge down in light wind and one cannot relaunch, what is the best method to self rescue? Can someone with more experience provide the steps/method they use? Would be greatly ...

Mui Ne/Malibu vs Sri Lanka Waves

I was wondering if anyone could compare the waves I can find south of kalpitiya (reef off alankuda beach and beach break farther south) to those waves you can find on Malibu beach in Mui Ne. I have been to Malibu a couple of times so I think that would be a good comparison point. Are they of similar...
