Re: Kook Proof Line Connection - are we there yet?

Switch is a "B" set up. Knots on the front lines and loops on the back lines from the bar.

Re: New Orleans

No pictures, but the bucktown launch is kinda sketchy. Actually, pretty damn sketch if no one is there to show you. Henderson point in Mississippi is a great spot for kiting. Long sandy beach and stays shallow for a couple hundred yards.

Re: New Orleans

Bucktown on the lake is the spot we all go on a northerly wind. Henderson point in Mississippi is where we go on a south wind. You should be fine with a 12m. I wore a full 3:2 suit today, while another fella wore just trunks. Being that you are from Chicago, I suggest a spring suit, or none at all i...

In response to the subject "Any advice is welcome"... 1. Don't post forum topics that are too broad and generic. It's rude to make other readers click on your thread before actually knowing what it is about. Do you want advice about new gear? How to do a kiteloop? Frontrolls? Backrolls? Put it in t...

Re: Any advice is welcome

Wow thanks.

On the camera, I've already ordered a v2 camrig line mount.

Hopefully the wind gods come through this weekend and can attempt to put what you said into practice.

Any advice is welcome

Working on back roll transitions. I'm pretty sure I'm not diving the kite enough in the opposite direction, but once I'm facing backwards, I lose track of kite position.

Re: Kiting spots near Atlanta

I used to live in Georgia years ago, and remember fishing lake allatoona. It's a pretty big lake, but you might need to do some research on finding a kite crew up there. You said Florida already, but there is also savannah, and both of the Carolina's not too far away.
