Re: Kite surfboards

Just got back from Brazil and 4+ hrs on the water per day x 8 days. Lots of hard landings and beating the board. I got a few pressure dings on the deck forward of the deck pad. I think they are from me bouncing off the board during uncontrolled air landing. That area is 7+4 oz. Not strong enough. Y...

Re: My pansh Aurora2

in 12 knts I go out on a 12m inflatable, and I have more fun.... 15m foil should work in 8 kts, but that areFlysurfer & Ozone  Your blow up sex doll doesn't count. But cudos on taking 12m ;) the boys must love you. As for flysurfer and ozone, different budget. Mind you, watched a guy with a 15...

Natural wood fins

I have finished a paulownia surfboard, and in the same natural / eco line, I want to shape the fins out of plain wood (no fiber lamination). What wood should I use, to be water-proof and strong to resist the hits a surf fin usually takes? I want to treat the wood with lanoline seed oil (eco again).....

Re: One fin missing?

Strapless kitesurfing here, in anything from chop to head-over & double-head (never bigger), NEVER USED A BOARD LEASH! And I have NEVER LOST a surfboard, but I have carried countless TT to shore or downwind of those who lost'em... Learn to body-drag, especially the proper sequence and timing (I alwa...

Re: bigger fins?

Hi! probably you got it from Decathlon or a shop like it (just I got a Bic 6'7" at a ridiculous low price, being forgot between the shelves)....but that`s a surfboard, not a kite-surfboard. The difference is in the thickness of the rail (thus the volume) and the size of the fins...plus a couple more...

Re: Firewire Vader

Guys (& girls), please help me! I am 82 kg/180 pounds and I ride mainly strapless. Generally, low winds (lots of days at 6-10 knots, on my hydrofoil) and small swell/chop... I really want to buy a Tomo/Fireware SB, for strapless freestyle/freeride, exclusively kitesurfing, considering the above cond...
