your favourite travel spot?

I'm looking for some travel destination recommendations. I'm travelling from the pacific northwest of North America. There's 2 of us going and we are pretty flexible and openminded to new spots. We're both well-traveled. October/November - short trip (approx 10 days). -I want flat water (I get plent...

Kenny, Regarding fiddling time with your kite - if you are concerned about it, simply put on the nose line, keeping it a bit on the long side. If it looks a little slack, its not the end of the world so don't spend too much time worrying about it. Add the extensions to the front lines. As for the ba...

Kenny, The shift system is designed for the new kites but will work on any of the Naish kites (as well as other brands') with a pump leash. So yes, it will work with your V4 25 and 30 kites. As for the noseline, you will need to do some trial and error on the length, but it is best to start with a l...

Hey Chris, The front lines work well when extended (as opposed to the back lines shortened) because the issue is not with oversheeting. What happens is that with the larger sizes, the span of the kite is such that instead of the middle lines pulling down (towards the bar), they actually pull the win...

Also keep posted for their up and coming Naish Bash event with team riders and reps to demo kites and answer questions.

Regarding NaishUSA's comments on changing the center line to shorten the throw - the same team rider mentioned to me that along with this ajustment, you can also setup your 'full-power' point on your trim line depending on your preferences. Tie the bowline knot in the same way and lay out all of the...

I have had my torch 20 for a few months now and was riding it with the 5th line. I'm away on a trip in the carribean now and my 5th line bar is (still!!!) lost in customs. It's been light wind here and I've been riding the 20 with 4 lines for 3 weeks now. No problems so far! Other people have tried ...

Yeah, the figure-8 is good. Try also always wrapping the lines with the same hand and unwrapping them with the other. This way each time you put a 1/4-twist in the lines for each wrap on the bar, you will always unwind it the opposite way to undo the twists. If that doesn't make sense, just try it -...
