Re: Cloud vs UFO

I fly Cloud and Hyde VOID, both strutless for foiling. Have tried UFO briefly and I find it similar to VOID. I use the same BRM equilvalent bar on both. IMHO, Cloud drift more than VOID/UFO and more into the window. Power generation is similar, but Cloud generate the same power with the bar further ...

Woohooo!

I have been a Nitro rider for more than 5 years... still using them. I look through Ventum offering, are you planning for a 5 struts kite?

Missing the Nitro grut and Big Air personality.

Re: A friendly warning: don't kite in Singapore

I totally understand and agree. Are there signs at the beach making people aware of it? And where to buy a permit if one wants to Kite there?? I was the one that post in the FB group (kiteboarding Singapore!) that Mr. Chew ( btw he is not from Singapore and I am sure have not kited here before ) go...

Re: Honest review of BRM Cloud kites

hi all anyone had durability issues, stretch in canopy? Yes, I do. But having said that, I got the 17m, C1 for light wind..learning how to foil now and thus it is a good 4-5 years of use. It is so visible that I can see the panels lines curving out while the kite is in the sky. compensate by adjust...

Bar for people with really short arms

Does anyone of the brands makes bar that is located really close to the body and with short bar throw (300mm)?

Or what to do (next to pulling the centerline and riding always powered) to accommodate this physical difference?

Re: Impact on performance - position of the front lines bridle along the leading edge

If you move the leading edge attachment points further apart from the centerline, it will flatten out the arc of the kite improving power production but slowing down turning speed. The really high AR inflatables are like this...Cabrinha just released a brand new inflatable called the Apollo that ha...

Impact on performance - position of the front lines bridle along the leading edge

To satisfy my curiosity... I noticed that different kite model has front lines that are position at different locations along the leading edge. Appreciate some one who can enlighten me on the changes to performance of the kite if we are to move it around. For example 1. closer to the center of the k...

Re: Kite Lines: which ones are used by the pro?

Good info... but I got lost in the discussion.

What would be the best lines out there now that will have minimal creep / stretch?

I got my Cabrinhas, Switch, Liquid Force lines all stretch by more than a ft. I am 100kg and do simple jumps.

Re: North Rebel 2016 Versus Switch Nitro5

these 2 kites are so new I doubt someone had the chance to try both. cant really compare those 2 models , but comparing the rebel 2010/2011 and nitro4: build quality on both is excellent. (disregarding delaminating valves on rebels of those years) hang time excellent on both, boost from water more ...
