Re: Forearm Burn - What to do about it

Try this one. Thin in the palm. Pre formed grip for less force. Pretty good grip. Thick outside and sides provide enough heat unless ice on the water. All four factors important for relaxed surfing. If you can do with mittens it is great. https://www.murrays.com/product/dakine-cold-water-neoprene-mi...

Re: Kitesurfing in Bohol

I just came from Bohol last Friday. We had already been kitesurfing (on Cuyo Island) on the same trip and rounded off in Panglao over new year for some celebration as well as diving. I was not expecting any kiting going on in Panglao and was surprised to find out that there was a kite center, as men...

Re: kiteloop tips

With bigger kites it will be more of a heli loop. I find it really quite easy also with my 17m (Blade Fat lady), especially when doing it combined with a back roll. If you do a back roll the kite looping will enforce your started rotation (a lot). The opposite compared to std looping where the loop ...

Re: Bigger fins on Shinnster

A few months back I purchased a pair of the biggest surf-shaped fins ( 110 mm Mutant model fins ) from Slovak Fin for my BRM Paipo. Took maybe 6 weeks to get them by mail to Canada but part of that may have been re-stocking. Have only been on them maybe twice now as I'm focused on learning to foil ...

Re: Bigger fins on Shinnster

Interesting! Never heard of. Anyone bought from them?
Looking at the Raptor or the Mutant. Leaning towards the Raptor in 80mm. Anyone with a better suggestion? http://slovakfin.com/product/raptor/

Re: Bigger fins on Shinnster

Planning to take my Shinnster for a trip to Philippines and want to use it in the surf. I'd like to test it with a larger set of fins but can't find anything useful. The Golden Board fins in this thread seems difficult to find. Anyone knows some fins, preferably in Europe, 70mm-80mm or so? All thrus...

Re: 2015 Shinn Boards Released - Anyone tried them?

I just want to (very late on this one) confirm the crazy good toe side riding of the Bronq! I experienced it on a 136x42 but that makes sense as I'm close to 90kg. Planning to buy one, it however seems like I will miss a lot if I go for the 137x44, my plan until now for better low end. I missed a li...
