Re: Is my instructor bias regarding buying gear?

And eventually you will end up with a 14/15m kite for light days, and a 8/9m for occasional strong days or when traveling. Along with an 11m, that makes a nice quiver. Re: Confusion on Slingshot's 2019 line

I have not used the carbon setup but I have the h4 (now called space skate), the infinity 76 and 84 wings and they all work on the same fuselage. It is the switch fuselage that I use, not sure if that is what yours is. They are very durable and I do not notice the weight in the water while foiling....

Re: Hurricane Florence and Dimitri Maramenides

I'm envious, I would have loved to have been out there! A few years ago we had five days of strong NEaster out there and I had a blast doing downwinders from south of Salvo to north of Avon. Winds were consistent 30mph and higher with huge waves by the last day (recorded 30 ft swells on the Diamond ...

Re: Beginner kite- Core XR5 or Naish Pivot

By now you have gathered that there are lots of opinions on almost every topic in kitesurfing, some vehemently held. I’ve worn a seat harness for 12 years, hate waist harnesses and gave mine away. Still love my Pivots! :D

Who cares. I mean seriously..... do these pro kiters generate a lot of sales?
Kevin Langaree might well have boosted (sorry!) sales of the Pivot.

Re: who is behind Wind Voyager?

Anyone know how much it costs, or is it a case of "if you have to ask you cannot afford it?"

Re: How much discount on a 2016 kite?

Is this a new kite that did not sell for three years? Might be a problem, what is it?

Re: Launching your kite in +25 knots fully depowered

Alfredo, I don’t see any opposing opinions. Everyone is telling you the same thing. You need enough power in the kite to be able to steer it. If that’s not true something is wrong and you need to figure out what. If you haven’t figured it out, ignore foilholio, he’s launching a foil kite. Finally, i...

Re: 30.4m Jump on WOO?

Maybe, Kevin Langeree's 28.3m jump was 9.1s according to WOO, but that was in around 40 knots on a 9m kite.
