My feelings are the same as High123, I always jibe my MTX unless getting out of trouble or doing transitions when I ride toeside. I am trying to get use to riding the board backwards but am finding it difficult, as if overpowered I tend to over edge it or nose dive, if underpowered I find that you l...

Kurt, all Naish kites have heavy bar pressure. X4 is flies similar to the X3 but has more grunt, which means more sidewards pull but earlier planning. It has very good lift and hang, but like all high aspect kites can feel sluggish if you move your kite around alot. Medium aspect kites get around th...

I would get the Boxer1 if the price difference is more than 20%. The Boxer2 will have a better resale value, but they are virtually the same otherwise.

8m is a Boxer2 it is a new size for this year.

A friend has one which he is very happy with and it seems to have a similar wind range to the 9m, which is 20 - 30knots, gusts to 35 with 20m lines.

I have a Boxer2 16, Boxer 12 and Boxer 9, I have also ridden a Boxer2 9m for 1.5 hrs. I owned a V4 16m for 6 months which I have replaced with a Boxer 2 16m. Boxer2 9m vs Boxer 9m Boxer2 seemed to have slightly more float, felt like kite had slightly more draft as seemed to have slightly more pull, ...

Because the Boxer is such a good allround kite.

It has the best qualities of the both X series and the V4 without the disadvantages.

I agree with the message above, and previously had a X3 14. The Boxer 9 and 12 are excellent kites, and very good for waveriding. I use 20m lines for waveriding and the 9 and 12m are both better than the X2/X3 8m for waveriding.

20 to 30 knots is also my windrange, 85kg, can handle gusts to 35 with 20m lines.

Great kite.

For waveriding I used to use 15m lines with an X2 8m, as the kite had a tendency to fall backwards when riding down the line with longer lines. I now use a Boxer 9m with 20m lines and it rides better than the X2 8m with 15m lines. The advantage of 20m lines is that the jumps are still good and relat...
