Looks like Lions Head to me, Table Mountain would be just out of frame on the left. Also looks like a typical Kite Beach wave and the sun is setting at the correct angle to make it Cape Town.

One of the more common estimates about two years ago was 100.000, and with the growth rate of the sport as it has been since then, I wouldn't be surprised if it's at least 150.000 now, that's if the initial estimate was correct. I wouldn't be surprised if it was more.

A slingshot under it, more to the point. In the 5th scene they do it on what looks like an 03 fuel, black. Definitely a black fuel of some year around then.

I hadn't quite finished with March yet.

A friend of mine seemed to have the same sort of problem and I think it was something to do with the kite. The lines were getting tangled with the board or something, causing it to invert.
