Re: Herniated disc

After a bad accident I further damaged my spine and herniated a disc. My entire right leg went numb. Long story short, I had a spine operation - microdiscectomy. It works. There are many myths. 1. If you have numbness, it is bad and can be perm so get it checked out. 2. If you have a herniated disc ...

Re: North Neo 2014

Had a chance to fly the Neos for 2014 a few times now and I'm very impressed. Yesterday conditions were side shore and some side on. Here is my take and take in consideration my size as well. I am 6'5" and weigh 230 lbs. 1. Low end - 12M around 14-18 mph purely powered. Kite is fast and very respons...

Re: Firewire Surfboards 2014 Line up

Vanguard and the rest of the 2014 line will be available end of this year early 2014 around Jan most likely...and the Vanguard is only in FST. Timbertek is still in the building stage not only for the surf side of things, but primarily the Vanguard due to the shape and bottom deck channels.

Re: North Nugget Vs firewire Sweet Potato

Paul, Both are similar, although the nugget was a spawn off of the Firewire board. Just like LF and Slingshot now have...as well as the Vanguard, etc. The surf version of the sweet potato will have to be babied and prob won't last similar to other surfboards. You can tho get the board in a strapless...

Re: FireWire vanguard ?

Very excited about the development of this shape for kiting, the Firewire guys mentioned on their forum that it should take about 2-3 months still in R&D (post early May). I hope it's not only 5'4, based on volume the 5'6 would be ideal for me. Also, please do make it available with strap inserts!!...

Re: Problems with materials on my new 2013 North Evo

You have nothing wrong with your kite. The ripstop material bends, twists, wrinkles like most products out there. They have to pump your kite up and fold it before its packaged for sale. It's not like an imaginary machine does it perfectly and VOILA! its crisp in the bag. This is common for all kite...
