And don't take any flights, the pressurized cabins will not feel too great.

I got to demo the RippEHr in Cabarete back in February too. The bar pressure was really light, and the range was really impressive. I couldn't demo it for too long though, cause there were a bunch of people waiting for their turn. I was sold on it. Placed an order for a 10 and 14 http://www.ehkites....

Two of my best kites came with those crappy mini hand pumps...

My other kite came with a normal pump, though. Not sure if it was alloy or plastic though.

I haven't bailed too hard with the silicone ones, but I have with the wax ones and I'm pretty sure I would've been on my way to another burst eardrum had I not had the ear plug in. Don't know for certain that it would've prevented my previous ruptured ear drum, but it was definitely similar circumst...

Last year I bought a new kite , a BT 10m and on my first powered up session I got huge air and baild hard I blew out my ear drum and lost the top 15% of my hearing in my right ear. When it gets choppy you will bounce and the powerlock gets activated regardless if you are a pro or kook. I've never had a problem of it mis-activating in chop at all. It deactivates often in chop, though. In my opinion, the powerlock doesn't buy me too much, though. Does help make the progression ...
