Re: Naish warranty : they screw you !!! or what ????

Speaking from personal experience: Naish Products : two thumbs up :D Rep's that work for nash the company: one up one down (touph job) :) Nash Hawaii the company: tow thumbs down. They'll lie cheat and steal to make a sale. I've personally experienced it. :( Nash products perform great, how ever if...

Re: Hawaii Kiteboarding Ban: Deadline Today!

I wouldn't be surprised if this did come out of DH issues.

There have been lots of idiot kiters over the past few years that have pissed off a lot of surfers, and windsurfers.

The domain was generally at peace prior to kiters, windsurfers have been there since the early 80's.

kailua has a safe record. to date there has been no serious injuries to anyone. any injuries have been to kiters, and no fatalies. this is quite a bit better than most other kite spots. as for talk about 'banning', it hasn't been an issue with the newer kiters, and gear that's out now. there has bee...

someone can correct me if i am wrong, but part of the big problem is that that guy legally is really doing nothing wrong. the whole "safe kite zone" is a voluntary demarkation that intelligent/dilegent kiters have established in order to work with the local community so that kiters can continue to ...

I have an idea for you and it might help keep your nonviolance position. Do you have a badge? Are you a police man? No? then why try to be one? Where we kite when we see a guy doing stuff too close to people we encourage him to come to the "good spot" We will ask him to move further out or we sugge...

it's been a really bad year for Oahu too. Worst ever for wind. Our thermal doesn't really blow anymore since they cut all the tall trees that blocked the seabreeze from cooling the hot spot. Oahu is really shitty compared to how it used to be. Maui is a way better option. damn! so that's why it all...
