I don't think it will pull you. I tried once in a pretty strong wind with a B3, and although it was enough to pull me all over the place on the ground, it was still not enough to get me up and moving on a board (I'm 78 Kg). Also keep in mind that such a small kite is very fast and nervous. The B2 is...

Re: Why does a kite fly?

Is it because of Bernoullis Priciple or is it Newtons law, or a combination of both? Or as someone else said, it is magic? A kite flies for the same reason that an airplane does. It's basically a big wing. The wing principle as I (uneducated bloke) understand it: A stream of air hits the wing's lea...

Guess you are running a kite company and put hundreds of thousands into kite development over the last years and invest a lot of money into patent rights (that's not for free!!!) too. And then a little Chinese man comes along, copies the design and tries to sell these illegally gained (stolen) know...

Some spots that I know about: - Porto Pollo in Northern Sardinia. La Maddalena beach (near Cagliari) and Porto Botte in Southern Sardinia. - Laghi Alimini (near Otranto) and Porto Cesareo in Southern Puglia (the "heel" of the Italian boot). - Lake Garda in the North - The "Saline" in Sicily. I think...

I tried it: http://www.nusco.org/sandboard/impegnato.jpg It didn't really work for me. That's not to say it's impossible, of course. I turned an old snowboard into a sandboard by adding straps and a formica bottom. All sandboarders say that formica is the best material for them. The normal snowboard...

Quick release position

I looked at some quick release systems, and they don't feel right to me. They tend to be too small and/or attached to moving parts. I don't think they'll ever be 100% reliable when sh*t happens. What if you're being dragged on your belly? What if you're in water splashing and rolling, and you must b...

...oh, and don't forget to take a tour on the Chia-Teulade State Road at least once on a sunny day. It's considered by most to be one of the most beautiful scenic drives in Italy, and I totally agree.

I just got back. Chia must be the most beautiful beach in Italy. The place is generally great. It's been nearly empty, except for surfers, until last sunday, when the first groups of people started to get to the beach (only a handful dared to get into the water though). Expect very few people on the...

magic potion

I suspect that the anti-fog is the same that we use on diving masks. If so, you can find it at any diving gear shop.
There are more "natural" methods to avoid fogging, but I suspect that people wouldn't want to spit on rub a sliced potato over its 200+ € glasses
