Just when I thought I'd seen every thing ... The O.R. team revealed a top secret 2008 'RISE' with a VENTED canopy @ windfest (Nitinaht lake this past weekend )

I've been riding a 'Mako' for a few years. With 18mm (yes 1.8 cm !!!) of concave x 150 cm x 34 cm wide this board holds an edge like its on rails yet as you flatten it out it rides/turns on waves like butter. I feel the concave in this application is more about the 'tracking' of the board than 'pop'...

I'm a proud owner of last years 12 ONE. I flew it extensively last spring/summer in 12-30 knots of wind. With my MAKO I found this to be a great combination. I use the Mako 150 in 14-9 m conditions (C kites & Bow). I like the way it holds an edge yet slides on waves when you flatten it out. Groovy.

I've been flying the 12m 'ONE' all summer 12-27 knots. I'm very happy with it's range & O.R. is very good about providing improvements for the kite via their web site. http://www.oceanrodeo.com/ forum. Looking forward to a 7 or 9 M for winter sailing.
