Re: Attention Rebel Veterans

The 2009 was the only 4 strut version so it should be easy to confirm. I don't have any experience with that particular model but all the new North bars I have owned came with the lines being equal when the bar is about 50mm from the chicken loop. I preferred my 12m (2011) to be setup so they were e...

Re: North Dice impressions

Got the 10m and use Naish bar with 24's Or am I just spoiled by riding Evos before ? anyone else got this problem? another dude here feels the same way You are using the Nai...

Re: North Vegas 11m v.s. Wainman Punch 10.5

I don't know Wainman, but I am very impressed with the 2013 Vegas - it is insanely stable and has so many different ways it can be flown, not just unhooked freestyle. Not going to review it here - just say it has massive range and appears to fly better in rough high to overpowered conditions than q...

Re: 443 Euros / 550 USD / 349 GBP for a bar? Have they gone

They want $679 for the new Cab bar in Australia! In the past I've observed Cabs lines having an unacceptable amount of stretch and the depower line needs replacing without a huge amount of use, even though its covered in a PU tube it still wears at the metal triangle. I would hope they've resolved t...

Re: 2013 Airush Smart Bar 4 - Pros - Cons - Opinion

2013 Airush bar has V not Y and releases to one front line, this changed from 2012 to 2013. I hear the smart bar extension pieces seize if not regularly maintained. If you don't need the extra wide bar definitely go for the analog bar....no maintenance on the extensions then. Chicken loop is really ...

Re: Is the 2013 Rally a slow kite?

Was the wingtip buckling issue on previous models only experienced by bigger riders?

Is it something that lightweights on small kites need to be concerned about?

Re: Washing Kite after use

I only ever wash mud off it. Rinse lines and board every time in fresh water and always dunk my bar in the water asap after launch if its sandy. The biggest tip I think for increasing the life of your kite is just to pump it, use it and pack it. Kites flogging on the beach all day under UV makes me ...
