Re: India Kitesurf! Review & Guide

Been living in Chennai for more than two years and kite there frequently... winds are not too bad, but regular size is 15 or my 17m turbine! To avoid shit: - go to the beach of the Fishermans Cove hotel and "bribe" The Beach Boys with some tips! The beach is not accessible to locals so they can not ...

Hua Hin - wind forecast / status

Hi All, Wanted to head to Hua Hin this week since I'm in Bangkok. Tried to check any wind forecast as the season should start in October, but I can't find any proper forecast or conditions update. I understand there are thermal winds and that's why wind guru does not show a breeze, but are there any...

Re: North Kiteboarding NBK - Why I will no longer buy north

I second your experiences... Liked the product, but had too many quality issues that were dealt with in an arrogant way... I simply don't buy it again. Luckily, it's a buyers market with so many brands and options... Only north gear I kept is a 2011 Dyno 18 (where the stitching on a strut now broke ...

Re: Cabrinha 2016

Interesting! My reaction was exactly the opposite!i like the Cab Foil Concept, but I think I have no use for the board (without the foil) I assume the twin tip like surfboard won't be near the feeling of a real surfboard and won't allow me to "catch" a wave and use the power of the wave... Simply bu...

Re: Kerala coast India

Also interested in some more infos on West Coast... I am based in Chennai on the East Coast currently, we have "fairly decent" wind from March till August / September and are a small kite community of expats. By "decent" I mean in terms of Indian standards, that means most flown kite size is 14... b...

Re: 2016 cabrinha

just saw on the drifter on the leading edge the words "offshore / cross-shore" several times... I wonder if you can adjust the bridles...

in general, really like the looks of the 2016s... Hope they offer the adjustable Bar without a strap/strap depower system...

Re: OR Mako?

The King all the way... I love mine so much, I even prefer it to my Shinn Monk in flat water and hardly ride it anymore... In waves, it's either the king or a real directional, depending on mood: if I want to go big, carve AND ride waves, I take the King. If the waves are clean and I want pure surf,...
