Re: Kiteboarding in Bali

The wind is pretty light in Bali.Sadly, 20kn is not common at that time of year. If you take kit, take only your 12 and some booties are not a bad idea either.

Re: 2011 Flysurfer Unity New Video Looking Sweet!!!

Message to Flysurfer: Guys, I don't give a runny shit about handle passes. If you make a video promoting the kite, SHOW THE ****ING KITE. You had a nice long shot, you had a wave, show how the kite turns on a wave, show how it loops. Show the autorelaunch. Part II better be a whole lot more kite and...

Re: Furia 1 vs Furia 2

Thanks Peter and Breathe. Good info. Will be interesting to see some reviews of the bigger Pure as they trickle in. Otherwise the F2 13 sounds like the heir to my N2

Re: Furia 1 vs Furia 2

Peter,
Have you ridden the F2 13m? How would you compare it with the Nova 2 12 (awesome low end for a 12 but tended to stall with the bar in) in terms of low end?

Re: Furia 1 vs Furia 2

Jsut had my frst ride on the Furia 2 9m. I also own the Furia 1 9 and have used it a lot. The F2 has much better low end power, slightly higher bar pressure and is even more stable with slack lines than the already good F1. It also jumps better. My only criticism is I really like the stopper hand gr...

Re: Nobile 555 vs. Mako

Very different boards. Mako is quite unique. Massive concave makes it very good for chop and it's the best thing I've ridden for waves if you want to stick to twintips. Powered carves on this board are a thing of beauty. 555 is also better than many boards in chop. I think it's a better choice for f...

Re: Wainman Hawaii- Questions?

My wife had some hindenburg probs with the gypsy the other day. Changed to Fast front and back and the kite is much better behaved - tends to drift back now. If you try this setting, let us know how you go.
