Re: Kiting Lake Tahoe (or nearby)

Tahoe is gusty, and if you live here, you learn how to ride and when it's windy. It's mostly windy on frontal weather - where there is a pressure gradient due to systems being pushed out. Re: Naish thorn with Escalades?

What about the Synergy bindings on a Jaime Pro L (2009)? a good combination? It's a wide medium flex board.

well

This is a great thread with very constructive feedback. Bottom line: each person has a unique definition of the "magic" board. Soo many variables. I'm much less experienced then many of the folks that have given you feedback..... I ride mostly powered up, >20, with 7m/9m kites, hooked in, straps, wa...

Flown it about 5 times now, in winds from 12 to mid 20's. The kite is truly incredible. Very quick turning, medium bar pressure. Super good pop for wake stuff. Great turns for wave riding. Awesome low end, got me going in 12knots w/surf board, i'm 220#. Did not test upper end. Definately pulls bette...

im my opinion

A mountain bike. If you can't ride a 12m/surf board, not sure it's worth it......of course, every body has their own local conditions and "needs"....I'm lucky to live in a place where a 12m gets you going about 200days/year.....If I lived in San Diego, I"m sure I'd have a big kite.......actually, I'...

Yup

Vasco,

I've had about 20+ sessions w/the 2008....works great, no problems. I've used it mostly hooked in, riding a directional. Have had a few unhooked/freestlye/tt sessions as well. Works great.

Good winds + waves, Zeev.
