By the way, I guess I would also say check out the X-Surf 6'0" for your needs - perfectly paddle surfable, nice volume, have ridden up to well overhead conditions without any problems at all. Love my mako king and I boost as huge as I'd want to as a 42 yr old! The board is awesome on the knees and super carvy. I am now looking for a playful directional that matches it in mushy conditions etc, but I'd never sell my mako. There was an amazing explanation one one of these sites that explain...
