Re: naish park 10m vs liquid force envy 10.5 low end

I have not ridden the park, but have many friends who do. When I'm on a 9m Nirvana, they are on a 9m Park. I have also ridden the 2013 Envys. The 8m Envy has more power than the 9m Nirvana. And the 10.5 Envy has much more power than the 11 Nirvana. So, I would guess that the 10.5 Envy is probably eq...

And on a more Serious note , try doing your new tricks in LIGHT wind, with a kite just barely large enough to pull it off. The consequences of a crash are much Less ; and it ...

Re: Liquid Force Nirvana

it's a sweet kite! great for unhooked tricks, lots of slack, lots of pop. Not really a free-ride kite for cruising around though. If you want maximum slack and pop and big kiteloops, then it's the right kite. If you want something a bit faster with more all around use, the Envy might be a better cal...

Re: Suggestions for pads/straps with maximum foot retention

LF cradle or Vantage are the easiest.

undo the velcro on land.

on the water, step into them, ride away.

while riding, tighten the velcro.

super, super easy.

Re: Suggestions for pads/straps with maximum foot retention

i used to have the same problem. then i switched to boots. problem solved. the new boots (particularly the open toed ones) weigh the same as straps. not much of a downside unless you're into boardoffs. as for the board delaminating? that's just an excuse for bad manufacturing. put boots on it, and t...

Re: LF NRG (not the LW)

Yeah, it has tons of power. It's not a fast kite, but it's really really powerful. big lofty gliding jumps...

most guys ride the 10 as their biggest kite.

Re: Standardising Strap Insert Spacing

it is standard. it's 6 inches with M6 screws.

like any standard, some companies will choose to go against it (to prevent you from using aftermarket straps).

but, the standard is 6 inches....

Re: Buying surfboard in Cumbuco

yeah, i've done it. hard to find cheap surfboards in combuco though. If I remember, we paid something like $200 (US) for a used surfboard....and ended up selling it for like $40 after. Toby is right, finding a buyer the last day is the hardest....they know you're desperate :-) that said, i would do ...

Re: Hifi Comp wind range

i'm right about your weight, and the 11m is my biggest kite. any lighter wind than that and i'm on my skimboard.

bar size for the 11m is same as for the 9m....the smallest bar (whatever size that is)
