Re: Ride Engine Rib Jab

Just buy a seat harness. Waist harnesses are about fashion not function. I've said it before and I'll say it again, there is not a waist harness on the planet that can match the comfort, support, and leverage of a seat...

Re: Stem Cell Treatment for Shoulder?

This is a great topic for the forum. .. Already had full open surgery on one shoulder and the tendon on my other one is about to rip off from the bone. ... The tricks kiters perform are almost guaranteed to result in many bad shoulders as these athletes get older. ... Politics or no politics. ... M...

Re: North Trust bar 2018

Definitely not a common issue. I have been riding North for a few years and so do many of my friends, with very few problems.

Re: 2018 North Evo Vs 2017

Great review !! I never rode the 2017 Evo so have no basis for comparison but I will say that I love the 18 model. I owned the 2014 which I also loved (except the bar pressure) but did not really like the 2016 Evo (alot of high end but it felt like the low end was stripped out). The new Evo to me f...

Re: Stem Cell Treatment for Shoulder?

Dimitri is friends w Obama, sorry, not likely to take anything from him, because O politicized everything, down to your pee I remember when this forum was about kiting, not about bashing kiters. Obama kites, so I guess that makes you a bad person for enjoying the same sport. I have read many jabs a...

Ideally Zephyr (17m) vs Helium 3 16m.

Has anyone flown both these kites and if so how did they compare?

- On TT, SB, or Foil
- Bar width and line lengths
- Bar pressure
- Low end
- Top end
- Gusts
- Position in window
- Ease of relaunch
- Quality of construction
- Weight
- Any quirks
- etc ...

Re: How hard?

I'm lucky to be a feeble 62-year-old, so I pump my kites as hard as I am able! Turns out that is the top of the red region or around 12 PSI ( I think, the pump is in my garage) for 7 and 9m, and top of green range, maybe 9 PSI, for my 12 and 16m, which are also older kites. 12psi is way too much. 6...

There should be a “what’s the dumbest thing you have seen a complacent ‘expert’ do?”

Re: Ocean Rodeo: The Next Generation is now

I just ordered a new 12m Flite, gen 6......Best 12m Kite I have ever flown. Everything else feels slow and heavy after riding this kite. I plan on keeping my 5 strut EVO for Gusty days, otherwise I will be rocking the FLITE....
