Re: Weed now legal in South Africa

I live in Canada it’s going to be legal October 17 for sure says on government website lol Thats what they keep saying in Massachusetts also. One of the problems is Banks and lenders do not want to be associated with the business.. I have mixed feelings, i think they should legalize but I don't lik...

If the wind is howling gusty, temp is down and things look crazy, a spliff puts me on edge as far as organizing my lines and and not fucking up my drift launch. For me, the ganja is best after the session.

Same here, kiting is a better high anyways...

Yeah, sounds good. Only the turning speed might be too quick for me.
It does not turn fast. It has good hang time and lets you down very gently. Lots of low end grunt. It flies forward in the window once you really get moving.

Sound like a Rebel or Edge.

Re: Prodigy??

I'm not a fan of the 12m flite and vs the 12m prodigy I'd prefer the prodigy... the flite doesn't handle the gusty conditions as well as the prodigy.. I've come off the water to switch down to my 7m after hanging onto the 12m.. so lots of wind range! having the other 7/9.5 and now the 12m prodigy i...

Re: Prodigy??

It's a good plan, matth. That 9.5 is probably one of my favorite kites I've ever flown. So fun to throw it around and it's forgiving if you goof. I had an 8 Flite and loved it, but just like BillyKP was saying, you better mind your manners. The 12 Prodigy will eat the gusts much better. The 9.5 is ...

Re: Prodigy??

Prodigy: make a mistake and its forgiving.... Flite: make a mistake and it will spank you hard I have a 12m flite and really like except in gusty overpowered conditions. I was thinking of getting the Prodigy 12M for the gusty days and using the flite for more steady days with lower wind average..

Re: Harnesses and ribs

I just don't get the resistance to seats. They work better, give you much better support , less chance of rib injuries, and a far more comfortable IMO. I like the look of the waist harness better, but there are some seat harnesses which are really sick, the dakhine one comes to mind. Toby has a goo...

:thumb: Risk of natural disaster, the US is 45th out of 173 countries. Fact vs. perception or perhaps news coverage? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_natural_disaster_risk I think you can make data look any way you want... I think its important to note the wiki page states "the ris...

Re: What a wind Forcast----Hurricane Florence

Mother nature really hates America...Hurricanes, tornados, fires , floods , earthquakes, volcanos. Stay safe, they are saying category 4, which is 150mph sustained... My dad (RIP) immigrated from Lithuania way back during the WWs, he choose Canada as his new home, when ever we would talk about why ...
