Re: Any news from Woo HQ ?

Dave was the guy behind Xensr and had some connection to ShadowBox, but I don't even know the guy's last name, so what can I really say? Dave has a different business in Green Bay, WI, that still exists, I think. Met him and his wife at a beach one day it was windy. He had the logo on the sail of h...

Re: Fatality in France

2 killed in a week, terrible, RIP. i am sick of people calling kiteboarding a safe sport/ safe gear, especially those marketing it for profit. Danger is part of the fun but needs to be well managed as we know. The setups and conditions around the world can be so different. Gusting in the 40s in Mau...

Re: 15m strapless freestyle

Flite 14.5 or 17M are great kites. Very light but still have three struts, good relaunch and no back-stall. Much more of a fly forward kite than most light wind kites IMO...

Re: Gear that has exceeded your expectations!

Ocean Rodeo Prodigy... Great all around kite, good low end, very good and stable in gusty overpowered conditions, med bar pressure, instant depower by sheeting out, nice pivoting loop, great boosting and hang time, decent drift in wave.....and insanely fast relaunch. Perfect kite if you are a freeri...

Matt - have you locked the bridles out on your 12 Flite yet? If not you should…it is more direct. You should like it.

I can't find any info on that, do you have a link??

Re: Ocean Rodeo Roam feedback wanted

How is the turning speed of the 12m ROAM ?.. I am thinking of getting a 12m for light wind wave riding and skimming.....I have a 12m flite and Prodigy and love them both, but they still feel like 12s....is the Roam noticeably faster turning??

Re: Who ride with sunglasses, and where?

My opinion is that sunglasses are a must for kiting, no matter your latitude or what the weather is. The UV radiation in sunlight cooks your lenses and retinas and without protection, causes cataracts and other nasty conditions. I have a related question. Does anybody think the necklace that comes ...

Re: Lightwind strategy - advice needed

Go with the foil board if you are limited to North Shore riding in the Summer. Nahant/Revere/Dog have a good group of foilers who catch the summer seabreeze winds, which are pretty boring on a TT and big kite. I get plenty of rocking days in the summer , but you have to be able to get out at odd tim...
