Walrat - looking at your Avatar, I totally see where you're coming from (matching your board to your kitepants and all). But now that we've addressed the gay patrol, can anyone provide some constructive info on this. I am looking at getting a new car and so far like the: 1. Ford Escape Hybrid or the...

Which convertible car for a kiter?

So, is there a convertible car out there than can cram 2 kites (with struts inflated) and a surfboard (under 6 ft)? The kites are 12m and below. I currently have an Element which of course has a ton of space - but also has a roof. I am thinking, if the rear seat-backs can come down somehow, and the ...

Anyone went to Jalama today? (Sat. Nov. 25th)

If so - how was it? What was the wind direction relative to the beach? Any details would help (I am trying to calibrate the damn sensor). The more details the better (times, directions, strength - whatever you got).

Thanks,

Boaz

You can't go wrong with an Amundson shape.

Zeev, ahi, that's a huge whitecap you're smacking ;)

Gyru, I'd love to give you input on the quiver choice but I can't. I have not ridden the Rebel 7. My gut is telling me go with the 9m. But whatever you do, the 12 is a must. It is so efficient. Jumps very high and very floaty. Dream in the waves. Super easy to fly. You will love that 12. Sorry I can...

Gyro, First off - disclosure: I am a dealer for Naish North and Slingshot. I've ridden the following bows/flats/whatever: Answer 12,16 Waroo 9,12 Waroo Pro 13 Shockwave 9,12,16 Sonic 13 (I also tried first gen Crossbow and Wingwing but those don't count, I consider them protos). I chose a Rebel. Her...

Kurt, I rode the 13M WP today and was suprised at how slow it turns. The kite feels VERY smooth in the air. But it turns too slow for any real wave riding. I think it would make a good jumping kite. But if you do a lot of down-the-line wave riding, you really ahve to work hard to get the WP where it...

Waroo, Waroo Pro and my Rebels

Ok, so I've ridden both Waroo's now. A 12 and 9 standard and a 13 Pro. BTW, I ride Rebels, but I figured I'd give a quick impression. I like the Standard Waroo better than the Pro. Much better in the waves, jumps just as well (a bit better hang-time on the Pro). The Pro is very sensitive to back-lin...
