The resellers of apple watch 2 and 3 here in Sweden clearly state the product is not waterproof enough for watersports like surfing etc.
I suppose the solution is to get the extra solution and go for it.
In the US, Apple runs TV commercials showing a guy surfing inside a barrel with the watch.

Re: Issue with Naish Kite leading edge, manufacturing defect ?

It’s not a manufacturing defect when the rip is in the middle of a panel. You can see it’s not on the seam.

So it is from an undected nick in the material from something on land, that becomes a massive blowout when under pressure.

I actually used my 12m Slash today in 9mph and my Spitfire foil. Thinking of selling my 12m Boxer.
Tell us more....

Typically the lightest kite wins.....when foiling. I like a kite so light it doesn’t require attention to keep it from sagging out of the window due to weight.

Re: Stranded kitesurfer used Apple watch to call for a ride

I’ve already used mine to find my wife when see aborted our ocean downwinder half way into our run. It was sick to iMessage her and find out what street she was at for pickup. It sure beats kiting with a huge, expensive, cell phone around your neck.

Re: How to Assemble a Naish Foil Set

I used tef-gel on all my screws. I even pumped tef-gel in all the screw holes. Not only does it ensure no corrosion, but tef-gel is sticky, gooey, stuff, that prevents screws from vibrating loose. So no need to over tighten any screws on the Naish. Phillips head work great when you eliminate any nee...

Re: Tuttle box broke

Here are the Tuttle CAD dimensions http://static1.squarespace.com/static/52fddf7ae4b0a44284e92bf8/t/5658f00ae4b02fbb0a3bb777/1448669194948/Boitier+Horue+2016.pdf One thing to be aware of when mentioning GoFoil, is they don’t follow Tuttle standards perfectly. Gofoil runs screws vertically, while Tut...

Re: Tuttle box broke

Chinook does make a deep Tuttle box, but they are very hard to find. Gong in France uses deep Tuttle Chinook. I know for a fact. I owned one. It looks like whoever installed your Tuttle did it wrong. No divinycell foam was used. Have owner of board you want to buy, measure depth of box at rear and f...

Re: Ride Engine 2018 Harnesses

The 2018 is much easier to get tight. It’s also easier to tighten once out riding. I think they moved the buckles farther behind on the harness, making it fit smaller than the 2016 model I replaced. Another bonus of the new strap system...dakine spreader bars now work perfectly on it. I prefer a dak...
