You sjould really give the Griffin kites from Monkeykites a try. I have never experienced better height nor hangtime, and I have tried a lot of kites.

Not tried the 2009s yet, and they have changed name to Griffinkiteboarding.

This is a good spot worth rescuing.

We South-East Norwegians also travel here often to kitesurf for a whole weekend.

I am pretty sure the VSONIC 8m2 will work for your girlfriend in 12-14 knots on a big board. I just came back from Puerto Rico where I got to try the VSONIC 8 & 11 on water for the first time.
